--------------------
Elliott sat in the floor of his room, throwing clothes in a pile, trying to sort through the ones that he didn't want. He decided that he should probably get dressed since it was four PM and Elliott was still in his Sponge Bob PJ's. He was actually feeling good today. Or, as good as a fourteen year old who was sick every day of his life could feel. He stood up and began rummaging through his drawers and grabbed the first pair of ripped blue jeans he found. He quickly replaced his PJ's with those and then searched for a shirt. The one he found was an over-sized 'Gir' shirt, that was probably a girl's shirt, but Elliott rocked But. Not that he would ever admit it. The boy just couldn't admit anything good about himself, which could get annoying at times, but who could really blame the fellow? Giving how he grew up. Elliott hated even thinking about it and tried his best not to think about it. But that was hard. He got his belt out of his closet and threaded it through the loops of his pants. His shoes went on next. A pair of green and black, high top converse. Once he was done with that, he walked to the mirror and sighed. Once again, he hated his reflection. He just wished he could look like someone else. Someone who everyone wanted to be. Someone who people looked up to. He shook his head and chuckled. "Like t-that would ever happen." He mumbled to himself. His dog tags and Jack Skellington necklace were the next things to go on. He decided again putting his contacts in and just wearing his glasses. It wasn't like he was going anywhere...... Or so he thought. I mean, it's not like he had anyone to hang out with. He really wasn't used to having many friends. He was pretty sheltered as a child and now he thought of himself as socially awkward. He wasn't that shy, but he just didn't know how to function around people all the time, which he was working through and getting good at, something he was proud at himself about, which was good, being the boy was never ever proud of himself. He (most of the time) down right hated himself. He had never resorted to trying to kill himself, though sometimes he wondered if life would be any different without him.He was always thought about things like that when he lived with his dad. He would say that the boy was "worthless" or "a waste of space." Elliott tried not to take it to heart, he really did. But it was hard not to, whenever you grow up and you have been told things like that all your life. All he really wanted to do was feel special to someone. Despite what most people would think, Ellie loved his dad, he really did, but he wasn't going to move back in with him. Or really even leave the house with him. You can love someone and be scared of them. Right? The man normally said he would come visit Ellie, but never held to his promises, which really had to make Elliott's foster parents glad. They were always scared that he would want to move back in with his dad or something. Honestly, why in the world would he want to do that? Just because he loved him didn't mean he was going to leave his new family, who he loved even more. But then, his phone vibrated. He smiked as he saw the sender.. Madisyn. His best friend so far since he moved. She was always trying to get him tocome spend the night with her. He snickered at the text, and replyed. "Sure. I'll come save you. Give me a few minutes, kay?" and slid his droid back in his pocket. He quickly threw some clothes into an over night bag and stood up. There was no use in asking his parents before he answered her because they wanted him to get out and spend time with friends all the time. Something about making him mroe social? He slowly walked into the kitchen and fond his foster mom. "Hey... charlott-- mom?" He asked, correcting himself, trying to get in the habit of calling her mom. "Mmhmm?" She answered. "I'm going to go over to Madisyn's, okay?" He asked, as his mom gave a nod of approval. "You need a ride?" "No, I can walk." He interjected. Of course, his mother nagged him about staying warm so he wouldn't get sick. Elliott grabbed his coat and then grabbed his phone and texted Madisyn. "On my way!" He told his parents goodbye and left the house. Her house wasn't that far away, so it was an easy walk. And soon enough, he had made it to the girl's door, gaving a light knock and waiting in the cold with his hands in his pockets. --------------------tagged Madisyn outfit here music nothinggg! notesI hope its okay

The dark was not something that Madisyn Williams liked. It was actually one of the two things she HATED. Hate was a strong word to her, as was love. She rarely used those words because of how strong they were. If she started to overuse them, soon they would have no meaning. She could honestly say that she had loved most of her family, and a few very good friends. One of them being Elliott. Besides that fact, she didn’t hate anyone. She did however, hate the dark. The one other thing she hated, were thunderstorms. That’s why she had slept with a nightlight. Sometimes she got so scared she would actually keep the light to her room on and sleep with the light. Nighttime was something that she didn’t look forward to. She actually dreaded it every day. Once she woke up and it was light out, she was perfectly fine, but then when the sun set, she was a nervous wreck. A lot of the time she would make her brothers come sleep with her. Depending on how close she was to that brother, either she’d make them sleep on the floor, or she would let them sleep in her bed with her. Though whenever she had a sleepover with someone, she would always let them stay with her in her bed, and if they didn’t like that, then she would let them have the bed, and she would go down to the ground to sleep.
Lying in bed was one of the many things that Madi had loved to do. She did it almost whenever she could because well, she loved her bed. She loved to sleep, and she loved to be warm and comfortable in her bed. But what made it better? Was when there was someone else with her to cuddle with her for warmth. Most of the time, she just laid there in her pajamas thinking about everything going on in her life. Today was one of those days. She had literally woken up, taken a shower thinking she was going to go somewhere, but then ended up getting right back into her pajamas and crawling back into bed. But she was starting to get really bored so she picked up her phone and sent a text to her good friend Ellie. “Ellie, come save me from the monsters under my bed? ):” Of course she wasn’t actually afraid of the ‘monsters’ under her bed. But it was a good excuse to get him to come have a sleepover with her. Though this of course would mean that she had to go convince one of her brothers to cover for her. Her parents didn’t approve of having sleepovers with the opposite genders. Of course she had ‘sleepovers’ with her brothers’ friends when her brothers were around, but never just her friends and her. At least, that her parents knew about. Once she got a text back saying he would come, she smiled down at the text and then hopped out of bed.
After she picked up her room a little bit – throwing clothes in her closet, hiding her journals, and then just tiding up a bit- she headed out to find a brother. Depending on the brother, she knew they would cover for her. They always had, even though the majority of the time she had to buy them off. She found five bucks in her wallet and then went and knocked on her brothers’ room. “Hey, Elliott’s coming over for the night. Tell mom and dad I don’t feel good?” She offered out the money and put on the puppy dog face. “Yeah yeah, but he better not try anything or I’m kicking his ass!” Madi heard the same thing from most of her brothers, no matter who she went to they would have said the exact same thing. Being the youngest girl in the family, she often was over protected by them. Though sometimes she didn’t mind it because she did have a lot of creepy old guys talking to her, sometimes it got annoying. Like now for instance, she couldn’t even have a guy spend the night without her brother threatening to kick the boys’ ass? Either way, she knew Ellie wouldn’t hurt her. He was one of her best friends, and she wasn’t going to let her brother scare him off. “Whatever you say, just stay out of my room, and make sure you warn me when mom and dad are going to come in alright?” They did this for each other, she would be the watch out for him if he had a girl stay the night, and he would watch out for her if she had a boy over for the night. Great how things worked out that way right?
Right then, she heard a knock on the door and she bounded down the steps to answer the door. As she opened it, she threw her arms around the freshman boy trying hard not to giggle. “ELLIE! TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH! I almost just got eaten by the monsters!” She pulled away and then grabbed his hand to pull him inside. The house seemed to be empty, so she wasn’t exactly worried about anyone coming and freaking out at her, or seeing that he had a bag to stay for the night. After she had told him she almost got eaten by monsters, she couldn’t help but let out a small giggle. “Come upstairs.” She practically demanded as she turned around to walk back up the stairs. “We’re basically contained to my room for the night, and be prepared to hide under my bed with the monsters if one of my parents comes up.” She teased as she turned around long enough to stick her tongue out at him before turning around again to open the door to her room and walk in to plop down on her bed. Oh, tonight was going to be definitely entertaining for her. She needed a night like this.
