Three years ago, Kingsley High School burned down in a mysterious fire. It was deemed an arson but no one was ever caught. The school was built near the local college, Kingsley College. Instead of rebuilding the high school, they combined it with the college. A small group of classrooms is set to the side for just the high school classes, but most of the seniors and juniors are in college level courses. It has earned the school a golden reputation and the town is starting to be filled with newcomers trying to get into the high school.
Of course underneath all of the academic success lies deep secrets. The arsonists are still out there, a school prank gone horribly wrong. The youngest is just entering junior year of high school and the oldest is a teacher at the university. There are other secrets too. There are student/teacher affairs, teen pregnancies, black mail, abuse. These kids are just trying to keep their sanity and the skeletons firmly in a locked closet. As the saying goes, ASK ME NO QUESTIONS AND I'LL TELL YOU NO LIES. |
