Alarm clocks, a sleeping person's worst nightmare. Well, it was Xandria's worst nightmare. She was confused as to why it was going off in the first place. It was the weekend right? Yeah, it was. Otherwise the footsteps of Ronnie would have been echoing down the hall, getting her to wake up. Let's face it. Alexandria was a heavy sleeper. Her alarm clock considered of this special object that made the bed shake and a loud bull horn hitting her ears. Safe to say, the neighbors weren't too happy with the noise in the morning. But then again, they had to deal with it. Speaking of noise and trouble. She wondered where Ronnie was. Her brother was usually up, hyped up on some kind of caffeine. The two couldn't be more different really. While Ronnie was covered in tattoos and piercings with pitch black hair, while Alexandria had bright blond hair and well, only a nose piercing that wasn't in all that much He was out of his mind and crazy and she was just...well, sweet and happy. Yet, she still loved the guy. He was her brother and he did help her out of the mess she was in and bring her back here. He didn't have to do that and yet he did. She hadn't been that gracious. But she did try to help him by cleaning up the shop a little when he wanted to leave early and everything. She was determined to pay him back. How? She wasn't entirely sure. As soon as she got a steady job she would. But for now she had to wait she guessed.
With no Ronnie appearing, she just sat up in bed. Pulling the blanket around her tighter as she struggled to seal in the warmth. She hated waking up and then being cold. Shivering slightly, she figured that it would be a good time to actually get dress. But she was still going to be cold. Either way she could make a run for it and take a nice hot shower. That sounded like a plan she could stick with. Besides, she needed a nice shower. She had spent last night running around with Ronnie on some tattoo errands and whatever the kid needed. She finally inhaled deeply, as if preparing herself for some kind of underwater dive in the Arctic and threw the blankets off of her and took quick steps to her bathroom, opening the door and flipping on the shower quickly, turning the knob to the left as she watched the room fill up with steam. She stripped off her PJs and took a step inside, letting the close to boiling water hit her skin as she washed of yesterday's dirt and whatever. After, she stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around herself, walking back into her room and quickly trying to decide what to wear.
Pulling out dressers, she looked through her clothes, pulling out a few long sleeved shirts and a pair of skinny jeans., throwing them onto the bed to decide what the hell she was going to wear to the what? The mall maybe. She had to buy new drumsticks and drum skins for her drums. Yeah, she could do that. She also needed guitar picks since she kept losing hers, that or Ronnie stole them from her. She looked over to her side and picked up her wallet, counting the money in it. It was her allowance, or well, that was how Ronnie paid her for working at the shop. She had enough to by what she needed and something at the food court maybe a new shirt. She would have more, except she gave half of what she got to Ronnie. Even if he refused it, she would leave it on his desk or something. She pulled out a bra and underwear, slipping them on and then grabbing the white tank top with a lighting bolt on it and pulling it over her head. After a moment, she decided on blue skinny jeans with it and then grabbed her blue hoodie. With that, she was done getting dressed as Xandria took out socks and pulled them over her feet and then her white converses. Now, Xandria was pretty lucky to have naturally straight hair. After rubbing her head with the towel, she tossed everything into the dirty laundry hamper.
Biting her lip, she debated on whether to put on make up today. She stopped to look at her reflection in the body length mirror, staring at her green eyes. She walked back over to her dresser, taking the dark eyeliner and gold eyeshadow from the mess of her make up and headed towards the mirror again, where she slowly applied the right amount of eyeliner around her eyes and some gold eye shadow. After she was done, she slipped on her ninja turtles bracelet and a necklace. She was all ready, grabbing her little coin purse that had money stuffed in it, her phone and her ipod. She decided it would be a good time to leave. It was something in the afternoon. Yes, she was still wondering why her alarm went off. Shrugging her shoulders at the thought, she opened up her door and left her room. She didn't hear anything in the apartment as she looked into Ronnie's room and every other room. "Where the hell could he be?" She mumbled as she pushed the bangs out of her eyes. She walked into the kitchen, spotting the note on the table, telling her he was going to be out for the day. Great, she had to get herself to the mall. Well, it wasn't that far and it was pretty nice weather, she couldn't complain.
Placing her ear buds into her ears and turning up her ipod so that someone from two feet away could hear Pierce the Veil blasting from her ears, she opened the door to the apartment and closed and locked it behind her, walking down the stairs and out the door. Walking down the sidewalk, she started taking turns as she tapped her fingers on her thighs to the drums from the music. She should of brought a pair of sunglasses even though, it was far too late to go back and pick up some now. Finally, the shopping center was coming into view. She exhaled in relief, not that she didn't like walking it was just a pain in the ass sometimes. Walking up the sidewalk and pulling open the door to the mall, she walked in and started walking straight towards the instrument store. She finally found it, after five minutes of looking at a map and pushed opened the door, the little bell jingled as she entered. Xandria instantly went straight to the guitar isle, looking at strings. Now, she had to figure out which ones to get. Great.
