highschool was pretty awesome in christine’s opinion. She wasn’t too big of a fan when it came to school, but she would rather go than sit at home. she was known as one of the class clowns or the student that was low-key the teacher ’s pet. Christine was such a cool girl, she got along with almost anyone. She got A’s mostly because she was cool with all of the teachers. The only teacher’s she actually had to try with were the female ones, which always had a problem with her, but chirstine always managed to pass thanks to her best friend, james. she was in her junior year and the only problem she had with a teacher was her English teacher, which was a university teacher that thought she was better than everybody else. but christine was at least getting a C in the class, and luckily for her, her dad was pretty supportive of anything the teenager did. he was actually proud that she was in her own band with her best friends. mostly because he had been in a band himself in his younger years, and his dream was once music, but now it had resulted in owning a music store. So he was still in the business, right?
Christine was at her house, her dad was working the late shift at the music store. Christine usually worked most shifts, she loved her job, but tonight was her free night. so she was home alone and she had invited her best girl friend, Kris over. Mostly to hang out and play videogames as usual, a few beers here and there as well. Her dad didn’t mind anyone over, as well as his alcohol usage. As long as chrisitne paid him back, which she did with no hesitation. Kris was over, the two were sitting on the couch, on separate sides of course. about two feet separating the two as they had a xbox controller in each hand pressing buttons rapidly trying to beat each other in the challenge presented. Christine won most of the time, but this time Kris had wono, christine groaned. And put the remote down, ”You butt head”, she muttered and pressed the buttons to play again ”rematch, biyatch!”, she chuckled as she started the next game. she smiled over at Kris the pretty girl beside her, she had always thought Kris was pretty. Hell, she was beyond beautiful. It even brought up personal bicurious feelings, but christine never really acted on them. hell, she never even thought about it, really. But for now the two were just best girl friends.

There was a lot to like about high school and a lot to dislike. It was pretty easy for Kris, though, because she had practically every class with somebody who would let her copy off them or she’d know the material even without that. Kris wasn’t ridiculously smart but she kept her classes all at a steady B, not worrying on the weekends about it unless it was exam week or midterms. Her weekends were spent either here or at Jayden and James’ house, rarely over at her own house which was her weekdays place. At night she would bullshit her homework and plays the bass, practicing whenever she can. She hangs out with her brother and parents a lot too, normally staying inside after a certain time of night and lying on the couch until it was time for bed. Her family was noisy, sure, but normally they calmed down around eight and she could watch TV alone in the second living room. There were two living rooms for some reason that wasn’t particularly relevant but it left her able to lie down and watch the Jersey Shore in peace. I mean really, how could she enjoy crazy drunk people with crazy family in the room, not shutting up?
Here she was tonight, kicking Christine’s ass for once at a video game. She grinned insanely wide and laughed at Christine, rolling her eyes. “Yeah, whatever, man.” She said and smiled at her, playing her best still. Around the middle of the game she lost her streak though; thanks to James’ calling her cell phone and making it go off. She was distracted by the message that he left that played out loud. “Kris, I can’t find my underwear… I need help…” Just as the game ended and Kris laughed she looked at Christine, shaking his head. “He’s so weird…” She muttered, standing up. “I say we stop playing this stupid video game of wrestling, and see who actually wins. Come on, just for fun…” She said excitedly, picking her phone up and turning it off. She didn’t want any more crazy phone calls from James tonight; she just wanted to hang out with her best girl friend. She loved James and all but he was a bit of a weirdo, and she didn’t feel like sitting on the phone and walking through his previous steps to find his underwear. He’d just have to go commando or something because she was with the prettiest girl she knows and that was how it was going to stay.

empty bottles of beer were scattered around the coffee table that was placed in front of them. christine wasn’t drunk, but there was a slight buzz lingering around in her mind. she loved this light buzzed feeling though, It often made her feel bubbly and more talkative. Christine’s place was pretty homey, it wasn’t too big but it wasn’t small either. it was average and it probably looked like two guys lived there. it was slightly messy, but it wasn’t too bad. As the two girls played another match, christine couldn’t help but smile wide. She was winning again. the game ended and right when it announced that christine was the winner she placed the control down on the coffee table in between two beer bottles and threw her hands up in the air. ”Yes!!!”, she then turned to kris and saw that she had not just won fairly, the opponent was just distracted by a text message. Christine groaned and ran a hand through her dark brown hair. Her face lit up a bit as kris spoke, ”Challenge… accepted.”
, she smirked and chuckled a bit. she knew she was going to win, christine had a random amount of strength that she managed to conjure up out of nowhere. She looked tiny and fragile but the girl could get feisty if she wanted to. Christine had gotten a bit more girlier as the years went on, she was still very much more of a tomboy than kris was though. today she had been sporting tiny shorts and a big navy blue top that came off of one shoulder. her bare shoulder being close to kris than the other covered shoulder, ”let’s clear this space up first … my dad will kill me if there’s a broken table in the middle of the room… even if it was an accident”. she giggled as she dropped her knees and pushed the coffee table towards the tv a bit. she was used to doing this when she wrestled but the boys, james and jayden so she knew exactly what to do. she was strong enough, yes and this showed. When she finally got it near the entertainment center a beer bottle fell over, but luckily the floor was covered in carpet so the glass bottle didn’t break. She turned to looked at kris as she got up to her feet, ”Alright ready to lose?”, she gave another smile as she kicked off her navy blue pairs of Toms slip on shoes, putting them to the side. she got into wrestler position, she was pretty much a pro at the position already. ”ready?” she looked over at kris, christine couldn’t wait. She loved wrestling. It was seriously one of the funnest rough housing games ever. WORDS: forty-sixty-one TAGGED: K R I S / / A L L I E NOTES: (: [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Out of their entire group of friends, Kris had to be the most girlish of them, right behind James. She was into dressing pretty, wearing make-up, and curling her hair on the school days so that she could look her best. Sometimes, it was more to impress a certain girl that she had always had the feeling that she needed to look her best for at all times. It was a weird feeling, because that was what she did when it came to boys that she liked in the sense of being more than just a friend. Christine always made her feel like that and it was just beyond weird, considering they were best friends and she knew deep down, even if Christine did swing that way, she probably wouldn’t want to be with her. Right? I mean, come on, the girl was the best you could ask for. Drop dead gorgeous without even needing to try, and that was pure talent in Kris’ eyes. She knew that she was pretty too, but she felt like honestly, her make-up was what made her. She’d never let that sort of feeling become any sort of public, she was too prideful for that. It was just an insecurity that lay beneath her thick, pale skin.
While Christine moved the Table she pushed some more table side table things to the side and other different breakable things and was very careful, she was used to doing this for when the boys and Christine wrestled. She was actually more used to seeing them wrestle instead of being involved in it, mostly because she wasn’t much of a wrestler. Her and Jayden normally did when it was just the two of them, and she always lost, but it was fun when for once she won. She figured it would be the same with Christine, just knowing what she could do to both James and Jayden made her think it was a bad idea, but still, it’d be fun to see what the girl was capable of for herself. Kris did this kind of thing all the time knowing that she’d get her ass kicked, but that wasn’t what mattered to her – it was the experience and if she had actually done it that remained a memory, not if she won. Yeah, if she won she’d definitely remember but again, it wasn’t the point. She slid her grey hoodie off and revealed a slim-fitted black shirt with ‘Hollywood Undead’ written across it. She was in a pair of thick-cotton blue shorts that were supper short, but that was normal apparel for her. Her feet were already disarmed, only having neon colors of socks on, purple and pink. She braced herself for the worst when she said, “ready!” and charged at her friend, attempting to tackle her onto the rugged ground.

christine enjoyed nights like these. Her dad was out and she could have whoever over and they could just drink and chill out. even though if her dad showed up, he’d probably join the party. she had one of the coolest dad’s in the world. hell, she smoked with her dad on occasion. He was more her best friend than anything. christine was ready to start wrestling. She was a little scared she might hurt kris, but then again, kris could always hold her own ground. Plus, christine would definitely take it down a notch or two for kris. but of course, with jayden and james there was no holding back. jayden was her perfect match. Sometimes she beat him, sometimes he beat her. james was easy, christine always beat that kid. He was more a girl than she was to be quite honest and he had always been surprised when christine beat him, which she still didn’t even understand the confusion. she learned from the best, her dad. If girls could be on the wrestling team, she’d so be on it. actually no, she wouldn’t. she’d much rather play football. but the football coach was a bit sexist, so he only let christine be the equipment manager for now. she still had hopes though, she didn’t care how tiny she was. the girl had some speed and she could definitely pull off being a running back or a tight end. She was obsessed with football, the only person that she could really talk football with though was her dad.
Kris charged at christine and with that, the tiny girl retaliated. The two struggled a bit getting the other down, but christine aimed lower taking kris by the waist onto the floor. Kris put up a good fight though, hell, chrisitne almost fell back herself but no… christine had kris pinned down. christine had managed to straddle kris, sitting on top of her best friend slightly leaned down, and her hands on kris’ arms as they were pinned to the floor. Christine chuckled, ”I’ve got skills”
, she smiled as she looked down at Kris. their eyes met and christine made a goofy face, ”surrender?” she giggled some more as she looked down at her very pretty friend. Her expression softened as she noticed how close their faces were, god, did kris have to be so perfectly cute. Christine got this weird feeling in her stomach and by the blank expression on Kris’ face, christine could tell she got a weird feeling as well. Christine gulped and without thinking just leaned in to kiss kris, their lips met and it was nice and soft. Nothing she ever felt with Jackson. Christine continued the kiss after she felt kris actually kissing back, the kiss lasted for almost three minutes before christine pulled away with a frightened look on her face. she threw herself off of kris with the same terrified look on her face and landed on her rear on the carpet ”um…. How about we play another game, yeah? Or… are you…er… hungry?.... I can order pizza?” she said as she brought herself to her feet, scratching her head. She wanted the subject to change, her thoughts were scattered in her brain and she didn’t know what to think of what had just happened. Kris was actually not too bad at wrestling – it was just a lot easier when it was with James. Why? Because, she could simply start pulling his hair and he’d drop to the ground and start screaming in surrender. He was without a doubt the most girly of the best friends that were in a band. They called themselves the Undercover Lovers but they weren’t even out of high school yet, so the four kids just remained a garage band until they got lucky enough to get signed. Kris personally didn’t mind it, it was a blast. Fame would come when it came and they all were pretty acceptant of that, Kris especially. She could be in this garage band forever if that was what the future called for; but she of course wouldn’t mind touring the USA or even the world, spreading the love and joy that music brought her. It’d be simply amazing to be like one of the bands that she’s been idolizing since she was merely thirteen; a dream come true. The girl would never let herself be in a fake-hearted band that only wanted the popularity and money, though. That wasn’t what music stood for; at least, not in her heart.
She couldn’t help but laugh a lot as she was tackled down, making a cute little defeated face. “Meanie head.” She whined and nodded when Christine asked if she was surrendering and couldn’t help but laugh a little bit. Then a weird feeling filled the room and before she knew it, her now blank face was locked with Christine’s and they were kissing pretty heavily for about three minutes. She had wide eyes when they finally opened and Christine was off of her, the two both sitting up but not looking at each other. Kris nodded fastly and got up, “Yeah, yeah… good idea…” she muttered and grabbed her phone. She dialed Matress Discounters and put a fake british accent on, “Hello? Hello? Do you have any pizza?” She asked with a straight face. There was a pause in conversation as she got a paper and pen out and asked, “Oh, could you give me the number to the nearest Pizza Hut? Yeah… yeah.. Thank you!” She hung up and laughed at herself, pretending nothing ever happened and handing the number to Christine. “The most efficient way to get Pizza Hut’s number… and don’t ask why Mattress Discounters is in my phone.”

christine had no idea what had come over her and made her do that. kris didn’t freak out though, so that was a good thing, right? christine didn’t want to show her confusion and anxiety in her face so she tried to keep her cool but it wasn’t working as well as she wanted it too. she was doing her best though which was appreciated. She had to admit though, she kind of wanted to do it again. it was… nice. And It wasn’t like those other times when she had kissed Jackson or any other boy for that matter, she actually felt something. but she shook her head trying to ignore the fact that she had just kissed Kris and felt something, she couldn’t be gay. No way. boys were awesome. Plus, kris couldn’t be gay. She was way too pretty to swing that way. god christine was so stupid, but she deeply appreciated the fact that kris didn’t freak out and run away. christine couldn’t bear to lose kris as a friend, hell they were in a band together. Christine would just have to pretend it didn’t happen and she was fine with that, at least she believed she was. she had to though, right? wait, no. christine wasn’t gay. She kept telling herself that internally as she looked away from Kristina.
She looked back when kris started talking on the phone and giggled, ”I’m not sure I even want to know why their number is in your phone”, she took the number and grabbed her own phone and ordered them their usual pizza order. Pizza was christine’s favorite food and kris didn’t seem to mind it, which christine was happy about. she hung up shortly and looked over at kris, ”Well they said twenty five to thirty minutes”, she said as she placed her cell back down and stood up, walking over to the refrigerator. She grabbed a magnet, the closest one to her was one her dad brought back from Hollywood, California. He traveled more than she did, but she knew she was destined to travel the world. just… in due time. she placed the magnet on top of the paper with Pizza Hut’s number on it, deciding to save it for another time. she made her way back into the living room, ”let’s change the game though”, she said as she went to the xbox and took out the wrestling game they played just before. ”what do you want to play? Mario kart? Or Black Ops?” she looked over at her casually.
